SECRETARY OF STATE ARDOIN ANNOUNCES RESCHEDULING OF FALL 2021 ELECTIONS
Due to the devastation of Hurricane Ida, Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin announced that Governor John Bel Edwards has agreed with his recommendation to reschedule the fall 2021 elections. See the changes below:

Save the NEW Dates!
Oct. 13: Deadline to register to vote in person or by mail
Oct. 23: Deadline to register to vote online
Oct. 30-Nov. 6, 8:30 AM-6 PM (excluding Sunday, Oct. 31): Early voting
Nov. 9 by 4:30 PM: Deadline to request an absentee ballot
Nov. 12 by 4:30 PM: Deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot (Other than for military and overseas voters).
SAVE THE DATE! Joint Governmental Affairs Meeting
-When: Friday, Sept. 17 @11 AM CDT
-Where: House Committee Room 5, Stream here
-What: To consider and discuss the 2020 federal decennial census data and redistricting pursuant thereto.
-How to engage: While this will largely be a logistical meeting, you can submit public testimony in to
email@example.com prior to noon on Thursday, Sept. 16 to be distributed to committee members
prior to the meeting.
