On March 2, 2026, LWVLA President M. Christian Green recently appeared on the WKRF Baton Rouge radio program "Talk Louisiana" with Jim Engster. The conversation included Louisiana's upcoming Closed Party Primaries on May 16 and some concerns about effects on voter participation in general, by No Party and third party voters, and by young voters. Also talked about the recently released Inactive Voter Lists that reportedly include 500,000 Louisiana voters and how to avoid and get off the list by observing the "ABC Rule" (Always Be Checking).
