Questions specific to the position

1. Would you support more federal funding to expand voter access and enhance election security? Absolutely. Every eligible person deserves the right to exercise their voting power. We must ensure that no one is restricted from voting while protecting our elections from be tampered with. Both increased access and election security are vital to safeguarding our democratic process.
2. In recent years, voters have expressed concern that their votes don't matter due to election security concerns, the possibility of foreign influence, and the role of large money in elections. What measures would you propose to address these issues? I would propose full-disclosure of all contributions from PACs and super-PACs. There needs to be more regulations put in place on the political process.

5. Do you support a system for undocumented immigrants already in the country to earn legal status and to have a path to citizenship? If so, what steps do you consider necessary? Yes, I support a system for undocumented immigrants already in the country to earn legal status and have a path to citizenship. We need to push for passage of the Dream Act to ensure that undocumented immigrants who were brought to this country as children, grew up in this country, attended school in this country, are given a pathway to become legal citizens. If elected, I would support the House Representative Roybal-Allard's proposal to grant conditional permanent resident status to Dreamers.
