| Studies shows that more police presence reduces crime. NOPD force can be increased and will maintain its high standards though grant opportunites and resources for violent crime reduction initiatives awarded by the Depatment of Justice. |
| 2. Will you support an ordinance to establish an independent external evaluation of the Ethics Review Board as called for in the Charter? Please explain your answer.
| Yes. Although there are sufficient laws and external evaluations provided by the Office of Inspector General, the solution is to restore accountabilty for the Members of the Ethics Review Board who enjoy prosecutorial immunity. |
