Questions specific to the position

1. How would you better facilitate working with other sections of the criminal justice system? There are several things that I will do to better facilitate working with those in the criminal justice system. I will establish a line of communication with Criminal justice system. Then I will meet with those of the judicial to discuss problems that they are currently facing and then provide solutions for the problems discussed. I will implement a 21st century technology and media suffused environment whereby the stakeholders will have easy access to needed information.
2. What factors will you take into account in locating the precincts? According to Louisiana Revised Statue 18:533, each parish shall establish one polling place for each precinct. The most populated area of registered voters will have poll locations.
3. Are you in favor of moving to all paper balloting? No, it is more user friendly to have both paper and electronic.
4. Are there any other measures that can be taken locally to ensure confidence in the voting process? Yes, in order to stop premature purging of voters, there will be proper notification of everyone who is on the purge list. Polling sites will be put in every precinct so voters will have easy access. Information can be constructed on the performance of elected officials for transparency.
