Description
The League of Women Voters of Tangipahoa is our newest Louisiana chapter! It was organized in 2024 with a primary focus of providing nonpartisan voter registration and voter education, particularly for young voters in the parish. In its first election season, it has already distinguished itself by providing voter registration and election information to young voters in Tangipahoa public schools and at local colleges and universities. It has also created a standing committee to educate and promote youth involvement in the electoral process
Members who join the League of Women Voters of Tangipahoa are also members of the League of Women Voters of Louisiana and the League of Women Voters of the United States.
Dues
$60 annually, through December 31, 2024, when they will rise to a recommended $75 annually with a $20 minimum under the national pay what you can program.
