Congressional Redistricting 2022–Still Happening in 2025!

The League of Women Voters of Louisiana, in a coalition of 24 voting rights organizations, provided testimony to the First Extraordinary Special Session of the Louisiana Legislature on January 15, 2022, to create a second majority minority congressional district so that voters will have the opportunity to elect candidates of their choice. LWVLA continues to work toward #PeoplePoweredFairMaps.`
