To educate LWVLA members as to LWV policies regarding taxes and budgeting.
To consult with professionals in the areas of taxation and expenditures who can provide a clear understanding of the intricacies of a complex system.
To evaluate proposed tax legislation.
To advocate for non-regressive means of funding state programs, and to oppose regressive forms of taxation.
